“Zhang Liao, mhm?” Azure orbs fixed upon the armored countenance of the warrior, hands rested by her side as she marched closer to the general. Was he assigned to heed her commands under Father’s order? Or perhaps he was ordered to keep her safe due to the situation at hand?
“No need to worry, I am just surprised to see you here of all people. Can you provide me information regarding the current situation within the land?”
“I am unable to say, my lady.” He responded almost robotically. His body remained stiff and statuesque before the young woman; entirely unmoving lest she commanded it.
“Lord Cao Cao requested that I remain by your side to defend the area for the time being.” A precaution, he assumed, though he did not question his lord’s orders.

“Greetings, who might you be?” was the simple question given from the princess of winter, empyrean optics scanned the countenance of her guests in nonchalant manner. Surely their reason of visiting her was not out of boredom, but to inform her of great information, no? Cao Ang could only wonder what news they have in store.
“Forgive me, my lady.” Zhang Liao’s voice rumbled out amongst the living and breathing bodies of men and women that he, despite his polished armour, found himself hidden behind. He bowed his head respectfully and clamped his left palm over his right fist and moved to kneel before his lord’s eldest daughter.
